These rooms mix traditional Arequipan colonial furniture with other interior design elements that evoke Arequipa’s Pre-Colombian past. You can choose rooms with any of the following three themes:


These rooms present textiles and images like those used by the early ethnic groups that settled in the area of “Las Chimbas”, across the Chili river and currently including the traditional districts and neighborhoods of Yanahuara, Sachaca, Cayma, and Cerro Colorado.


Represent the Puquina-speaking culture, which was the most important in the valley. Amazingly the only remaining textile from this culture is about two square centimeters large, which was just enough for our interior designers to replicate several textiles in the room that go well with various Churajones ceramics.
